Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice

There are 2 categories of coursework required for the B.A. in CRCJ: University Core Curriculum and Hybrid Completion Program Curriculum.

  • University Core Curriculum (Required of all Undergraduate Students)
    • For students in the Fort Worth Cohort, University Core Curriculum requirements are completed either before entering the cohort or during summers and intersessions while proceeding through the cohort. Please consult with your advisor to create a plan for completing the Core Curriculum.
    • Students may transfer up to 72 hours of credit towards the B.A. in CRCJ
    • The B.A. in CRCJ completion program in Fort Worth is designed in a hybrid format, consisting of 2 face-to-face and 2-3 online classes per Fall and Spring semester
    • Face-to-face classes meet at UTA Fort Worth on Monday/Wednesday from 10-11:20am and 11:30-12:50pm
    • NOTE: At least 36 hours of coursework must be in 3000/4000 level courses
