Parking & Transportation
UTA Fort Worth students are NOT required to purchase a UTA parking permit. UTA Fort Worth will distribute temporary hang tags the first week of the semester that are valid for the duration of your course or program at no charge. This tag CANNOT be utilized at any other UTA parking lot. This hang tag must be visible at all times while parking at UTA Fort Worth.
However, the UTA parking permit is accepted for parking at UTA Fort Worth for students enrolled in UTA Fort Worth courses.
Parking in UTA Fort Worth Faculty/Staff designated spaces requires either a UTA faculty/staff parking permit, UTA Fort Worth Hang Tag or Guest pass.
All UTA Fort Worth visitors must have a temporary parking permit displayed on their car dashboard. Please check in with Security at the Information Desk to receive your visitor parking pass. To obtain the visitor permit prior to your visit, please contact Daniela Cardenas at email@example.com.
Visitor parking permits are valid only for the date(s) issued on permit.
You are not required to display your UTA Fort Worth hang tag if you choose to park at a meter on the street or at any other City of Fort Worth parking lot. Meter parking is free after 6:00 p.m.
Please visit the Downtown Fort Worth Inc. website at https://www.dfwi.org/get-around/parking for more information regarding additional parking options in downtown Fort Worth.
