Parking & Transportation
EFFECTIVE FALL 2018
NOTE FROM THE UTA PARKING OFFICE: ALL HANG TAGS SHOULD BE RECEIVED BY SEPTEMBER 7, 2018. ENFORCEMENT WILL BEGIN THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 10TH.
UTA Fort Worth students are NOT required to purchase a UTA parking permit. However, a free, temporary UTA Fort Worth hang tag is required for student parking at UTA Fort Worth. The UTA Parking Office will mail these temporary hang tags to your primary address during the first week of the semester. The hang tags are valid for either a semester or academic year at a time. This tag CANNOT be utilized at any other UTA parking lot and MUST be visible at all times while parking at UTA Fort Worth.
To obtain your hang tag, allow 24-48 hours after you have registered for classes. Then, log in at www.uta.edu/mavpark with your NetID and Password. Click “Purchase Permit” from the menu. Select the term of your class, either Fall 2018 or Academic Year. Then, select the UTA-Fort Worth Student permit for $0.00. If this permit is not available, contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your student ID number. Complete the process to verify your mailing address and enter the license plate of your vehicle. Once complete, an email will be sent to your registered UTA email address.
You may purchase your UTA parking permit for the Arlington campus by completing the process again and selecting your desired duration and permit type.
NOTICE TO RETURNING STUDENTS:
ALL EXISTING UTAFW HANG TAGS ARE NO LONGER VALID EFFECTIVE FALL 2018.
ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED TO REQUEST A NEW TAG VIA THE PROCEDURES ABOVE.
