MASTER OF SCIENCE IN SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

Program Overview

Further your engineering career by earning a Master of Science in Systems Engineering degree from UTA. From the conveniently located UTA Fort Worth Center, you will learn the fundamental and technical skills necessary to develop and engineer complex systems. You will also consider the life cycle of systems, from conceptualization to design and development, and acquire a broad industry allowing you to better manage system performance and reduce problems.

The MSSE program is designed to be completed in 24 months. It requires 36 hours of coursework. Of the 36 total hours, 12 hours will be completed at the UTA Fort Worth Center, while the remaining 24 hours can be earned at the UTA main campus or via distance learning. Classes at the UTA Fort Worth Center meet just 2 times a week, allowing you to maintain the ultimate flexibility with your schedule. Additionally, the program is delivered through a cohort format, allowing you to remain with the same colleagues and classmates throughout. This allows you to better collaborate and share ideas, while also providing you with the opportunity to build a local network.
