MASTER OF SCIENCE IN HEALTH CARE ADMINISTRATION

Program Overview

In 2007, Modern Health Care Magazine ranked UTA’s Master of Science in Health Care Administration program as the third largest program of its kind – and there’s a reason why. Industry-focused courses coupled with an accelerated, cohort-style program and a convenient Fort Worth location allow you to get a top-notch degree in the quickest, most efficient way possible.

In 24 months, you will learn to apply principles of business, accounting, economics, marketing and more to the health care industry, arming you with the tools necessary to become a successful health administrator. You will also develop evidence-based management skills that will allow you to better lead an organization toward growth and success. In the end, you’ll complete a research project or residency to culminate your degree and launch you into the professional field.

For your convenience, classes are offered in consecutive, accelerated 5 and 7-week sessions, so you can focus on just one subject at a time, but still complete multiple courses in a semester. Additionally, the program is presented in cohort format, so you can network with other area health care professionals, collaborate on projects and exchange ideas.
